Marielle Van Hoek LL.M.

Marielle Van Hoek studied Dutch Law at the University of Leiden and graduated in 1995 with a specialization in International Law. After her studies she worked in Honduras for a year at a microfinancing institution where she learned to speak Spanish. From 1998 to 2013 she was employed as a (senior) lawyer at the Legal Department of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, most recently in a management position.

In 2013 she decided to move with her family to Curacao where she turned her public legal career into commercial and worked for two years with a local service provider in Immigration and Relocation. Subsequently she has been employed within the trust sector on Curacao until she made the switch to the bar in 2017.

Marielle also is a certified Mediator. She speaks Dutch, English and Spanish
